The matrixing has long been used for cutting and forming metals using mechanical or hydraulic press. The theoretical knowledge in this area must be supported by good field experience and curiosity. Although the basics of matrixing are known for several years, we have witnessed many changes in recent years. The arrival of new cutting technologies (laser, water jet), the philosophy of JIT, SMED concepts, electronic detection in real-time of the production parameters and global competition greatly influences the design of these tools. In Mobil.id, we have adapted to these new realities. Therefore we are now recognized for our achievements in several areas including appliances, recreational products, heating and automotive industries. |
